Happy Time Summer Camp is back in 2026!
Once again on the grounds of the beautiful Issaquah Community Center, Happy Time Summer camp will welcome kids ages 8-12 on a wide range of visual and performing arts experiences! Join our teaching artists Adam Kenney, Dani Flanary, Divya Rajan, and Kat Klockow for two weeks of art immersion and fun!
If your child is someone who simply can’t get enough of making things, writing things, and creating in general, this is a one-of-a-kind experience to help them on their artistic path.
There will only be one session of camp, running August 3 through 14 (yes, it’s two weeks long)
Because of our strong partnership with the City of Issaquah, we keep costs very low for this - our TWO week camp costs the same as nearly all other ONE week camps.
Families can choose half day or full day options, including lunchtime fun & games as an optional add on if you need full day coverage.
Detailed descriptions and registration can be found on the Issaquah Community Center website at the links below.
MORNING CAMPS (9am-12pm)
LUNCH HOUR (12-1pm)
AFTERNOON CAMPS (1-4pm)
Frequently Asked Questions
What camps do you offer? In 2026 we will offer 2D and 3D visual art, literary, and theater camps for ages 8-12.
Why are sessions two weeks long? We believe this amount of time is necessary to generate meaningful relationship building opportunities as well as meaningful creative and artistic skills.
Does my child need to be experienced in any of these mediums to join an art camp? This camp is a good fit for artists of all levels and experience.
What happened to the guitar and songwriting camp? Happy Time offers songwriting and guitar workshops year round. In the summer of 2026, we may be able to get together a short burst session, please reach out if you’re interested. We also may be able to put on a few sound production workshops too. Again, let us know if you’d like to help make this happen. We’re happy to work with your schedule and custom build a one or multi-day course.
How do I sign up? Signups are run through the City of Issaquah, please see the links above.
