Learn functional and decorative techniques for mending your well-loved clothing. In this class we will focus on two basic hand sewing stitches: straight stitch and whipstitch.
Bring a pair of jeans or another garment that you want to repair, or practice stitching on a provided denim patch to use in the future. We provide everything else. All skill levels are welcome.
Taught by local artist Christy Caravaglio, this workshop meets from 5-7pm on September 8, and is open to adults.
