Sumi Ink Workshop - June 29

Students in this workshop will texturize a clayboard panel, followed by a value study, image transfer, and ink removal. The end result will be very nuanced and Alive! 

This technique is appropriate for both beginner and experienced artists. No drawing skills are required, just an observant eye! Students will go home with their own painting, as well as a new medium to explore on their own.

Note: this class uses razor blades for ink removal and is open to adults only.

Taught by Carol Ross, the Sumi Ink workshop meets from 12:30pm - 4:00pm on June 29, and is open to adults of any skill level. No experience is necessary. All materials provided by Happy Time.
