Webcomics 1: Techniques & Practice
Learn the foundations of webcomic creation from concept to finished page. We’ll cover planning, outlining, and writing techniques, explore the pros and cons of digital vs. traditional creation, and discuss how format choices shape your story. You’ll discover helpful digital tools and resources, learn to avoid common beginner mistakes, and get real-world advice on building a sustainable creative persona online.
Taught by local artist and professional illustrator Blayne Fox, this workshop meets from 1:00-3:00pm on November 15, and is open to teens and adults of all experience levels. Please bring a sketchbook and your preferred drawing materials.
